Guest GL_Raptor
The unit I am most excited about is the transport. Resource raids are going to be all too common with this baby around Just build up 5 or 6 of them, load em up with some quick raiders and fly em past the enemy walls right over their farms. Now granted anti-air will take them down easily enough, but still, the price of losing the transports is worth the pain you cause your enemy by killing off his workers. He/she is distracted trying to get everything back up. My favorite tactic from my SC days was the dark templar drop. I can't wait to try the same thing out with a pack of cloaked jedi. Not only resource raids, but in good numbers you can drop a whole strike force behind enemy lines. It's not the perfect tactic but it is still much better than hurling your troops again the shield and tower guarded walls. AoK didn't have anything like it, not even the sea transport compairs. People who played Starcraft are sure to see the potention here. The resource drop was one of the most annoying, frustrating, and effective tactics of the game. At the very least your going to make your opponant have to commit resources to defending their base as well as their front lines.
Guest dr_death
i do love transports too. i like to have a transport full of pummels, one with medics and one with jedi. i was playing luke skywalker and Ee.. something (i forgott) and they sent about 6 transports of pummels into my base and a couple of transports of sith atterilery and bounty hunters. it werent so bad cos they only got my command center and all my carbon collecting bots. Guest Tie Guy
Another great thing to load them with is pummels. They are great for quickly setting down and taking out key buildings and defenses. Add a few transports full of mech/bounty hunters/jedi and you've got your self a very hard tactic to stop. Zygomaticus
are there suicide bomber units in GB?? that would be a great tactic to load them in a transport
Guest Bobio
I like to do the pummel drop too. it won't succeed in destroying a base, but can take down two or three key buildings, like command centers, fortress, sheild generators, etc

Paragon_Leon
you ONLY lost your command center and all your carbon bots ? LOL !!!! I'll gladly play you sometime then. If possible, this week.. Transports in AOK were the battering rams. In the expansion pack, you could garrison troops inside them and bring those into someone's base.
