JPMaximilian Posted January 22, 2002 Posted January 22, 2002 What tools do I need, and how hard is it to model new weapons for Quake III. I'd like to work on some custom blasters and weapons for Jedi Outcast when it comes out.
Wilhuf Posted January 22, 2002 Posted January 22, 2002 Check our Radiant Editor Resources and Links Thread. Look for 3d modeling links under the '3D Model Editing Resources' section. Milkshape 3d is a good place to start for Q3 tech 3d modeling.
Singularity Posted January 25, 2002 Posted January 25, 2002 I'd recommend gmax - it's free'r than Millkshape and the tutorials are excellent. gmax

JPMaximilian Posted January 26, 2002 Author Posted January 26, 2002 Once you have a model where do you go from there to incorporate it into a game?
