Kurgan
...could be played in "friendly mode" where all players go after the "Fool" and are on one team though they retain their individual skins, and "unfriendly mode" wherein all players can kill and hurt one another as in normal deathmatch, but they want to go after the Fool. KFY was all about grabbing the Ysalamari and hanging onto it as long as possible. Much like "KFC" (Kill the Fool with the Chicken) from Outlaws (which was later ripped off in Quake2). KFY was just like KFC except the creature negated the force in a bubble around you. Both games had classes, so you could use those in a game of KFx. Capture the Ysalamari sounds more like 1 flag CTF, except the flag would be force negating. At least that's what it makes me think of. By "Detonator packs" I assumed they were just talking about thermal detonators (that come in packs when you pick them up.. much like JK.. they were in belts of three). Notice they have other typos like the "stun button" (Stun Baton?). The "highlander type game" sounds to me like this: Imagine Quake3 Arena.. and you're in a deathmatch map with a bunch of people and all the powerups (regeneration, flight, haste, quad-damage, etc) are littered around the playing field. You just play as if it's regular deathmatch. The powerups are all time based but if you kill the person who has them, you can pick up the powerup again and use it for the remaining time (unless you are killed, etc). That's what it sounds like to me... in fact most of the Q3 powerups (or "Runes") have parallels with Jedi Powers. The kill the guy with the lightsaber mode sounds like tag... Interesting info to say the least...

Notice they have other typos like the "stun button" (Stun Baton?). I don't think so. If you read the list that they give it includes thermal detonators. So I think the detpack is somthing completly different. On Elite Force they had det packs in Multiplayer, they were basically mini nukes. I don't think thats what JK 2's are but it might be somthing you set and can manually blow it up. I think this might take the place of the IM mines. Agen
I agree with u there Strider. The IM Mines should have a worthy heir to the throne of annoying traps at the corner
Rat Boy
Nothing will ever be annoying as the proximity mines from Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Take a wrong turn and BLAMMO!
