Obi-wan

I cant believe what I'm hearing. I cant believe so many think Obi-wan is a really crappy game. Sure the lvls and singleplayer story are weak at sometimes but you have to admit the lightsabre control and force is probably the second best show off of the Jedi. After JK2 of course.

I think at the moment it's the best lightsaber control and force use in any game(only cause no ones played JK2 yet).

But as a game its only average. Who wants to play through a retelling of the movie. Which is what it is. Its ok but it's not great.

That level on the droid control ship just felt like running around in circles. Kept passing the same areas over and over. It was tiresome. I never played that level again after I beat it.

Well OBW was going to be a totally revolutionary game and it sounded awsome........amazing graphics, amazing lightsaber control, and it was on a system that could actually handle all of this. But then Lucasarts realised that they didnt have the capability to do all this and made the statement "PCs dont have the requirements".....It would have been released about now and we now have P4 2.2Ghz and GeForce 3 Tis.....thats over twice the requirments of the X-Box which they chucked it on. Lucasarts realised they couldnt live up to our expectations, so put it onto a console that wouldnt be noticed so much. Its hardly surprising we dont like it.

Ray, I agree. Obi-Wan deserves better respect. I have the game for the X-Box and totally enjoyed it. Great replay. The saber and force powers control are the best out there thanks to the duel analog controller. Unlike Jedi Knight 1 when I finished Obi-Wan I said "well thats what it feels like to be a Jedi." Although Jedi Outcast will be graphically superior, I still do hope the saber control is on par with Obi-Wan.
