the_immortal
Ok i have a pretty old custom made PC that i made around 16 months ago it is a 850 mhz 192 Mb Ram TNT 2 Ultra XP operating system. I use a ton of performance programs but i have always had probs with MohAA which was totally weird cause even if your ran some of the graphics on medium to low on my PC it still lagged like a cow with a cattle prod up its ass i reallly want jedi knight II to run decent and yet look fantastic what do u think that it will run well on my PC? i have an option to upgrade my graphics card to a geforce 2 ultra, does anyone know if this will run it much better, thanx for your support. Your PC will run JKII fairly well, but I'd definitely upgrade that graphics card if I were you - a GF2 Ultra would be a good choice at a reasonable price. Your current system, but with a GF2 Ultra, should run JKII nicely, but almost certainly not with all settings on full. Having said that, I have a TNT2, and I can run EF at 1024*768, 32-bit, with everything on full, and I only get a few slight skips in some areas... And BTW - Welcome to the forums - make yourself at home, and enjoy your stay
T-Dogg
Related to what captainRAVE said: I've got 1000 Mhz Duron, 256 Mb RAM & a GeForce 256 and I couldn't run Midtown Madness 1 well! (I didn't buy it, borrowed from a friend.) The weirdest thing is this: the less details I had on, the slower the frame rate! When I had all the details on, the game was smooth, BUT all the pedestrians projected multicolored beams. (Like, one's head would be a thick one, another one's shirt a thin one, another's pants another thick one...) Each beam was the same color (or coloUr for all you British people out there) as their source. Beam from head skin colored, beam from shirt for ex. red and so on... Back on topic... I'd say it's safe for you to run JO, but don't expect full resolution 'n maximum details though. That GeForce 2 will surely help. A lot.
