txa1265
After watching the various trailers I am wondering (and concerned) how Obi-Wan will be viewed/portrayed in Episode II. On the one hand, we know that Anakin is destined to be an extremely powerful Jedi, but on the other hand we know that Obi-Wan is also a great Jedi. Watching the part of the 'clone wars' trailer where they are doing the Coruscant chase, it seems that Obi-Wan is frustrated and distracted, yet Anakin 'sees' who they are pursuing far below them. I know that Anakin has already shown arrogance and is doing things he shouldn't, getting Obi-Wan in trouble in the process - more than enough reason for him to be infuriated. I am just hoping that the movie portays things in a positive way - in other words, don't diminish Obi-Wan to make Anakin look strong. It seems that they are doing a good job of portraying Anakin as dark and brooding, strong yet insecure and immature ... looking for action and adventure ... ripe for the Dark Side. I liked Obi-Wan in EPI quite a bit - he was strong and humorous. I hope I still like him in EpII ...

I think Obi in EPII is distracted a frustrated, by Anakin. He also has concerns about Anakin's future, remember all of the Counsels warnings? I don't think he will be written in a diminished capacity. It is just that Anakin, because the story is about him, is being written 'bigger and bigger'.
