R5D4
Hi, I'm wondering if the 3dfx cards are support in this game especially Voodoo4/5 because I have one . At the game Dune - Emperor I saw that there were a lot of graphical errors with 3dfx cards and Dune and win2k. Anyone comments? Thanks
Guest Kudar
There shouldn't be a problem with 3dfx cards, especially not the voodoo 4/5 I used to have a voodoo 3 on my old pc and it worked fine, as long as it supports 2D graphics it shouldn't cause trouble as there is no need for 3D support in the game. Com Raven
This is a 2d-game, so it doesn't support any specific cards, you just need any graphics adapter with 8 meg and there ya go ..... BTW, it doesn't produce graphic glithces with a V3 ...

Paragon_Leon
I STILL have the major problem that the demo consistently crashes when it gets to the actual game-screen. My mouse-cursor is messed up in the single-player campaign mission narrative screen, as well. It's definitely not a memory problem; i have 160 MB now. And i use the Diamond Stealth 4000 with the latest drivers.

Young David
I don't think I will get the game before the 20st ... (Nationale feestdag voor alle studenten) ... So I'm avoiding the GB discussion a bit ... makes me jealous. BTW welcome R5D4 ... I see you haven't had your dutch welcome greeting. "Welkom op GB.com ..." That would do I think

Guest Kudar
Leon I found you this There is a known issue with Diamond software. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Windows Explorer. Click the + symbol next to your Windows folder. Click the + symbol next to your Start Menu folder. Double-click the Startup folder. Locate and delete the In Control shortcut item. Restart your computer. NOTE: The In Control program is the desktop control program for the Diamond Stealth card. Another issue with Diamond is that it overwrites comctl32.dll, which sometimes causing problems too. If you're running Win98 the go to start, run and type sfc then press ok. When System File Checker start, choose to extract one file from your installation disk. Once it's found it, extract it to C:\windows\system and I believe that it's the S3 chipset Am i right to believe that Diamond no longer support their products and have stopped making video cards? It may be time to change.
R5D4
You better go to S3 site because Diamond is very death . Maybe the are some good reference drivers if you know which chip is on the 4000. HaHaHa (je bent nederlands) oke ff zo dan : ga ff naar http://www.tweakers.net --> Forum en stel ff daar je vraag, daar zitten genoeg Hardware dudes die je probeer misschien kunnen verhelpen Greetz.
