Backslash
when two sabers clash together, shower of light and sparks, lots of noise. That's it I believe.
Coligeon
Yes, you are correct Backslash. It is when the lightsabers are both touching each other and each person tries to break loose to get an advantage. Just watch esb or rotj, it happens frequently. It's sounds like a great feature for the game. Hope this helps.
HBK
I believe it is when 2 sabres are stuck together (somehow, don't ask ME how) like there is a test of strength going on. You know, they have their sabres out there and are trying to push the other down. The only way to break it, because everyone has the same strength in the game, would be a force push or pull. Just my take. It's cool that it happens, but I hope not frequently. HBK
Hoowl
In PC Gamer, they said saber lock would be broken by the first person to press fire and that the winner would knock the opponent back slightly and gain an advantage.
RedHerring
Oh, I thought it was more intregal than that. That's what I was thinking. In the movies, the "saber lock" looks like they are both pushing in opposite directions, not like there is so sort of power attracting the 2 sabers together. Pedro The Hutt
hmm.. didn't the review say that who was bashed the fire button the fastest (as in most rapid) would win. So basically, when two sabers clash, prepare to go Ctrl key bashing.(or left key clicking)
aletoledo
saber-locks are the trigger-locks of the era. despite jedi killing people and not sabers killing people, saber control laws were passed under the emperor.

Zek
The concept of saber locks is that you have to have quick reaction times to realize you're in a lock first and thus gain the advantage. I'm not sure how you get into them. I would be disappointed if it were a button mashing contest, I think that would slow down the very fast-looking saber action of the game... It isn't that the sabers are stuck together, it's that both people are pushing on their saber with all their might and if you pull back the other person will rip you a new one. Thus each person has to try their hardest to gain ground and force the opponent back to gain an advantage.
RedHerring
Or you could pull back while doing a backwards somersault and while he is swinging thru air you slice him to pieces..,.
gavan
Saber locks are when two players hit each others saber at the same time and try to push the other player down. luke and vader do it a couple of times in TESB and ROTJ does that help anybody
