Qui-GONE Jinn Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 Anyone know of a good program (free!) that converts regular music files into MP3 files?
HBK Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 If you mean from CD's try freerip 1.20 http://download.cnet.com/downloads/1,10150,0-10000-103-0-1-7,00.html?tag=srch&qt=freerip&cn=&ca=10000 I've used it in the past fro CD's. Not sure if it will read files already on your hard drive. But you never know, it's free, give it a shot. HBK EDIT: for the mods, it's freeware.
Darth Simpson Posted March 18, 2002 Posted March 18, 2002 I use CDex, which is a great little tool. Can be found here : http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-1896417-100-8008646.html?tag=st.dl.10001-103-1.lst-7-1.8008646 Oh, and it's great to see you here again Qui-GONE!

Darth Simpson Posted March 19, 2002 Posted March 19, 2002 All too long my friend. Plan to visit more often when JKII comes out?
Jyt-Pon Dai'el Posted March 19, 2002 Posted March 19, 2002 I use MusicMatch Jukebox. I've never used anything else, but I do like this one.

Qui-GONE Jinn Posted March 20, 2002 Author Posted March 20, 2002 Yeah, when JKII comes out, I'll probably be right here posting...I kinda doubt if my three-year-old computer will run it, though. But I guess I'm gonna be here a LOT around the time when Episode II comes out..! Ah, I've missed this!
