Hurry...everybody run and order one before they sell out! http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.asp?submit=manufactory&catalog=48&manufactory=1281&DEPA=1 I made a mistake on the poll…should have been $7 instead of $4. Bowen
Thanx Matt for correcting my poll dude. Especially since it's a joke and most people will know that save newbies.
GUNNER
Thanks for the tip. Mine will be here Monday. Just in time to slap it in a play some JO. Why would anyone spend more then $10 on a dumb video card..

Why would anyone spend more then $10 on a dumb video card.. Sure NP...if you just look at it, it's obvious that you don't need 128 megs of ram on video card. Geez, I remember the 1 meg onboard Trident video card back when I had a Packard Bell PC in '92 I think it was. That was only 10 years ago so if you look at 4 megs of ram....that's just plain overkill and while I'm on the subject...it's as equally ridiculous about having Giga-plus processors too. I'm going to build myself 486SX 25 MHz, 4 Megs of ram, single speed cd-rom, 14.4 modem, 1Gig HD. I'm sure some would call that overkill as well! So big deal...I drop a few hundred frames in JKO. Do you see people in Afghanistan with Giga-based computers...no...so there ya go!
Chanke4252
Is the 4400 the GF4 equivalent of the GF3 Ti200? I got a Ti200 about 2 months ago, maybe ill spring for the 4400 this fall.
Wacky_Baccy
As far as I can tell, no. The Ti4600 is like the Ti500, the Ti4400 is like the original GF3, and the Ti4200 (yet to be released - may not even be, although I think it will) is like the Ti200

Usually around this time when the new cards are released they are usually only an incremental increase in speed and performance but that is no the case with the GF4 Ti line. The GF4 Ti 4600 is up to 50% faster (and that is with some AA on too) than the GF3 Ti 500. If you have any GF3 card (non-mx of course) then I would say it's not necessary at all to upgrade but if you have an MX card or a GeForce 2 or below....I'd recommend that you upgrade if you want to be able to run JKII with everything enabled.
