Because in JK, you couldn't grip an officer through glass, for example, or push, or pull weapons. So maybe in JO you will? I don't know about grip, I was always light, but I've pulled weapons out of peoples hands through force fields and glass. Level 10-JK the room where you flip the switchs in order to turn off the heating coils. I always made sure I pulled their weapons before I even could enter the room. Level 18-JK there is an elevator you have to trigger and then jump down in order to proceed. The main contral room is across the way, complete with glass window. Pulled the guns from their hands every time. Those are the only two I can think of right now, but I know it's possible. I assume that it will be the same for JO.
