fido4fox Posted March 26, 2002 Share Posted March 26, 2002 I cannot believe they are coming out with an Expansion so quickly! Usually it takes a little longer. I am not complaining at all. My question is: Does the computer get more resources than you? Does it build faster than you? From what I can tell it does! I have tried to match the computer worker for worker, building for building and I think it does build faster and gets more money than you do. This was the case in Command and Conquer. Plus the game has one or two (!) bugs and fixes needed - plus it's perfect timing for Episode II and we will ALL want to play with the new Episode II toys. Playing the computer depends on the level you play on. On Mod level, it takes ages for it to reach Tech 2 and its very slow at reacting to things - on Hard, it cheats like crazy. Limitless pit of resources, endless units - making life a hell. If you can't cope - use the game cheats or better still, why not record your game and then view it as the computer to see what its doing. Emperor Dan Posted March 27, 2002 Share Posted March 27, 2002 Indeed, this is early for an ex-pack. Most XPs come out about a year after the original game came out. The reason for this coming out in May is for EpII coming out at teh same time. And yes, the computer cheats like mad on Hardest. On Hard the computer receives free resources every 5-10 minutes. On hardest, it's much more often than that. And the computer is harder because it can move lots of units at once, unlike you. Try playing a human opponent for a fair challenge.
