Guest airjim Posted November 21, 2001 Posted November 21, 2001 here's something to fix in patch 1. in random map games, there are usually map items that you can find, like ruins in AoE. (ewok villages, temples, etc). they are of no value (that i can tell), you just get to see them. so why does the computer attack this stuff? why dont they just claim it like i did? eh? thatz right.
Dagobahn Eagle Posted November 22, 2001 Posted November 22, 2001 I'm not sure if I understand what you mean? Is this stuff present in SW Locales maps? Are they Gaia units (converts to you on sight)? If they are, the answer would be that only players can convert Gaia units, so the Imperials just keeps on attacking them.
Zygomaticus Posted November 22, 2001 Posted November 22, 2001 you mean they are buildings like in ra2 aok never had anything like those
Paragon_Leon Posted November 23, 2001 Posted November 23, 2001 I haven't been able to test it yet, but it does seem like the buildings in RA2. I played on a Forest map with Massassi Temples thrown in, and i claimed them as i walked by. I didn't get to garrison units in them yet, however. That would be SO cool if that is an option...
Guest DarkTrooper Posted November 25, 2001 Posted November 25, 2001 what purposse is there with them if they dont do much. i did a dm on tatooine and had an army of sandcrawlers that did only one attack.
