Guest Geogwe Posted August 18, 2001 Posted August 18, 2001 Will it be like you give one 150 gold and then you target something and they will attack it?
Darth_Rommel Posted August 18, 2001 Posted August 18, 2001 You create them at a fortress... just like any other AoK unit
Guest Kvan Posted August 19, 2001 Posted August 19, 2001 Originally posted by Geogwe Will it be like you give one 150 gold and then you target something and they will attack it? So what your saying is that you have to pay bounty hunters each time they attack some thing? I LIKE IT!!!
Lord JayVizIon Posted August 19, 2001 Posted August 19, 2001 sounds like hustling, but i like it too.....
Guest ZeroXcape Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 Anyone know if you can send out multiple bounty hunters?
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 You can create huge hoards of them just like any other unit, you don't have to pay them, they just said it would be cool. I personally think that would be horrible, and ruin the whole element of bounty hunters in the game.
Paragon_Leon Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 well, you won't be able to get that many fortresses up, so that's not the problem. Also, there's seldom a victory in AOK where the unique units from castles rule.. it's always a mixture. i guess that if you try to mass bounty hunters, you cut yourself eventually.
Darth_Rommel Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 Actually castles (fortresses should cost about the same) are kinda cheap, only 650 stone or so. And if someone were to mass bounty hunters... just counter them with aircraft
Compa_Mighty Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 Paying the bounty hunter each time is not a good idea, you would run out of gold very quick.
Darth_Rommel Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 Exactly! That way they wouldn't be used all time- thet would be waay to expensive
Guest Master Yoda Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 If they did that, then they would have to make the Jedi EXTREMELY expensive to get other wise you could just build a army of jedi and aircraft and wipe everyone out.
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 22, 2001 Posted August 22, 2001 Originally posted by Paragon_Leon there's seldom a victory in AOK where the unique units from castles rule.. it's always a mixture. one word: Longbowmen I just build hoards of these, and no unit stands a chance. They take a little longer on buldings, but what does it matter, they rule the battlefield, and they are so cheap.
Guest Admiral Odin Posted August 23, 2001 Posted August 23, 2001 I would get a few bounty hunters and place them around crucial buldings. ( Don't want pesky Jedi to convert them) It would be interesting if the GunGuns had a GunGun Bounty hunter. ect.
Guest Geogwe Posted August 23, 2001 Posted August 23, 2001 I think it's like you can get a realy weak Bounty hunter for 20 gold per attack, and the more you pay the better the bounty hunter.(Like The most expensive ones are IG-88 and Bobba fett, but theyr'e REARLY good.)
Guest God Posted August 30, 2001 Posted August 30, 2001 who knows what civ will have the boba fett looking bounty hunters
JEDI_MASTA Posted August 30, 2001 Posted August 30, 2001 if u hafta pay every time u want a bounty hunter to attack that would use too much gold and it would make them useless for anything except jedi because it would be too expensive
