TheJackal
I posted this in the TechHelp section but nobody there could help me. I'm hoping some people where who dont visit it could help me. First off, I want to say I've configured my router so i should be able to join and host games freely. I've checked it over ten times. I can join servers with any other Quake3 engine based games (such as MOH:AA or Castle of Wolfenstein) However with JK2 I cannot join ANY servers. I went into the in-game browser. selected my connection speed to Cable. I've selected my source to be Internet. Then I click Get New Server list and it just stays there. the little animation at the bottom keeps repeating itself an nothing happens. The browser stays empty for as long as I wait. I then went to TheZone. this time I got a little further. The JK2 logo waiting screen appeared. However there it does nothing. the timer just keeps counting and there seems to be nothing being loaded since the light on my tower isn't activated (processing). GameSpy Arcade does the same thing I then tried hosting a game, I can play with Bots and etc. However, when my friends try joining they are stuck at the loading screen like I am. Yet THEY can play on other servers. Please help me.

Guest Krayt Tion
What firewalls do you have up? If you aren't using any to the best of your knowledge, are you using windows XP?
TheJackal
I have WinXP but I'm pretty sure its disabled. I haven't activated the defense mumbo-jumbo microsoft incorporated with XP. I have a router, Linksys. the router is fine. I've set it with my buddy who's in college in networking.
