Eets
That's right, designers! Can you make the best Shirtless Maul from the Dark Horse series "Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter" ? Well, get working! Because the prize for winning is... respect! If you need any source material, just ask. Here's a sample:
Prox Kolari
Great idea! Unfortunately, what's the back look like?

Evan Nash
There you go. That pic works. I liked the head of Maul that that one guy did of him "hoodless". Ask him if you can use that head, then make you're own body. Unless you can design a better head than him?
Delmar
eets: that link is kind of creepy. it weirds me out a bit that starwars.com refers to darth maul being "sexy."

Eets
Sure, but it would be cool nonetheless.. Just ignore the "sexy" part
pixarman
Here he is... Click for the shirtless wonder He is not finished and right now I am using Renix/Jonathan O'Dell's head and legs. I am going to do my own head here soon and also add the legs as well. I just used the othe Maul parts to quickly test how he was coming along. So what do you guys think? This is my second skin attempt. Pixarman
Evan Nash
VERY nice.. I think one thing tho.. That color of red is WAYYYY too bright. Try a darker red? Same with his pants and boots. Maybe that's just your brightness settings, but the red is definatly too bright. Darken the red, and black and it............is........PERFECT!!!! VERYYYYY nice job. Eets
Yeah, a little too much red, and a little too bright...
Evan Nash
Was also gonna say why his arms and back look so "glossy"? It's like a white "glossy" look.
Ernst Röhm
For your 2nd work this is phenomonal. Keep up the great work brother.
Evan Nash
I forgot to say... His hands are red. Not black.
Eets
Actually, they're both. Look closely at the top picture. There is red tatooing where his finger bones are.
Evan Nash
That's shadow. But still, your hands look like black gloves. Add some red to the finger or something just so they dont look like gloves. =)
Eets
Look closely at the hand on the saber! The tatts are articulated like bones.
Kijinn
pixarman Use a differing model. The skirt looks very much out of place. In addition to that...You absolutely need to shade in some muscles ! Right now it looks like a suit...Not like his bare skin. It looks good...but do not stop halfway to the targetted location.
B0MBER II
I got a toy of him shirt less
SEPtIc cHiLD
Definitely need to use a different model, the shirt tail just looks wrong. oh btw, I've uploaded my Maul skin to JKII. Shirtless Maul on the way.
Evan Nash
Maul does have a "skirt" you fool. What movie are you watching??
SEPtIc cHiLD
yeah ok maul has a skirt, I just think the shirtless maul looks wrong on that model. The skirt looks daft.
Evan Nash
Skirt needs to stay. It's accurate. As for the hands... The hands look like bloody gloves. I am sorry, but it is distracting. =p His hands are more red, than black. But the skin isn't finished so there's still time. I am not saying the skin sucks. I love it. I am just giving feedback.
