P4 1.5Ghz

256MB SDRAM

32MB GeForce 2MX 200

I run in 1024x768, 16 bit color, no volumetric shadows and everything else maxed out and I get no problems. :D Silky smooth performance and everything.

Things change when I bump up to 1024x768x32 and volumetric shadows, but that's to be expected with a budget budget budget budget budget 3D card and half the RAM most of you run with (that'll all get upgraded before the end of the year). So, anyone got 512MB DDR RAM and a GeForce3 to spare? ;)

Actually, I am considering getting rid of my Geforce3, and if I was rich, I'd give it to you. Unfortunately, I'm not rich :(, so if I decide to get rid of it, then I will have to sell it.

...and I still cant use volumetric shading or very high texture detail when outside......when inside I can run everything max though

....Ok, it seems that atleast a majority of us have problems when we try to run with the Volumetric Shadowing setting and/or Very High Texture Detail setting enabled regardless of how good our systems are. My framerates drop horribly when I try to run with Very High Texture Detail and I have a pretty high-end PC! -WTF!?

-I really think that setting is a problem with the game itself and has hardly anything to do with any of our systems. Another pattern I see.....It seems that those of us having problems trying to run with the Very High Texture and/or Volumetric Shadows settings are those of us that run the game in very high resolutions. For example, I run mine in 1280x1024-32. Players that run in 1024x768 or lower seem to have hardly any issues performance wise. When I turn on Volumetric Shadows, that also tanks my framerate and there seems to be problems with the real-shadows rendering also along with bad clipping half the time. I have a 1.4ghz cpu and a GF3 Ti500 card for Gads-Sake! -Any other game runs flawlessly w/ everything to the max including MOHAA and RTCW. Again, it would sem that the performance problems lie with the JK][ programming for those high-end settings and not our PCs..............just my .02 S!TH=Sense:rolleyes: ;)

750Mhz Duron

128MB PC100 RAM

32MB GeForce 256 (1st gen card)

20GB 7200RPM Western Digital HD

60GB 7200RPM Western Digital HD

Windows 2000pro

Running at 640x480 (don't wanna push it) Settings on High.

Game runs great, no crashing and no bugs yet. Cold load is about 20-40 seconds, quick-loads are only 3-10 seconds. All this speedy loading with 128MB RAM. So Raven can shove it up their ass and admit load times ARE NOT RAM specific!:o
