shred_lord
OK, so I’ve been playing JKII for a couple of years now and in a fit of righteous indignation I’ve decided to inform you what is not acceptable. It is not acceptable to…… I) use drain and grip, lightning and grip, or any combination thereof. This will cause hard feelings of round. II) use the heavy lightsabre stance. It is far too powerful and must be a bug. III) use grip to dangle you opponent over a precipice and drop them to there doom. This is a cowards tactic. IIV) use pull or push in a manner similar to point III IV) use the fast lightsabre stance. It is far too fast and must be a bug. V) throw your lightsabre at your opponent. This is a cheap tactic to score kills. VI) use mind trick to score cheap kills while invisible. VII) use seeing to disrupt an invisible opponents plans. VIII) run around or away from your opponent in order to heal after they’ve gone to all the effort of nearly killing you. IIX) shoot people with guns. Anyone doing this is obviously unfit to play the game. Go and watch the film and tell me how many people use them. Star wars is all about lightsabres, and guns aren’t in the spirit of the films. IX) use grenades. They can’t be deflected back at you with a lightsabre. X) deflect shots back at someone. The shooter won’t have his sabre draw and therefore won’t be able to do the same. XI) use the medium lightsabre stance. It is far too useful and must be a bug. XII) use dark rage. It makes you to fast and strong. XIII) use protect or absorb. How can a dark jedi use his drain and grip combination on you if your using those? I hope that clear things up, if I’ve missed any of the many grossly unfair tactics that are possible, please reply with details and reasons. Ta ta, Shred Lord ------------------------------------------------------------ Edit: BTW this is satirical! Oh and cheers to digl for reopening this thread. ------------------------------------------------------------

Coronog
Obviously a man coming from Harvard or Oxford. I think I'll adapt that post as my new bible and as I see it, the bible says to go play Power Rangers: Movie Maker. Thanks for that morally and socially enlightening post . Jon_the_Cynic
To the starter of this post: I certainly hope you're being sarcastic, because if not, Since I'm unclear on this, I'll say I either agree or disagree with you. O_o The only real overpowered things right now, IMHO, are the Repeater concussion mode, excessive draining, excessive lightning, and excessive dropping/pushing. All of those are okay from time to time, just not ALL the time..
happydan
id say it was pretty obvious...
Jon_the_Cynic
Yeah, seriously. He said something against all three lightsaber stances. Although something in there made me not quite sure. O_o
Joruus
It is not acceptable to…… Ahahahaha.....hahahahahahaha....breathe breathe....AHAHAHAHAHA. I) use drain and grip, lightning and grip, or any combination thereof. This will cause hard feelings of round. Ahh but heal and absorb is okay.....right? II) use the heavy lightsabre stance. It is far too powerful and must be a bug. No I'd say the problem here is you spend too much time staring at the pretty lightsaber coming at you. III) use grip to dangle you opponent over a precipice and drop them to there doom. This is a cowards tactic. Ahhh okay, so wasting 5 minutes of my time while you spam circles with your saber, heal like a nutball, and throw your saber like you don't really want it is more "honorable" than throwing your nutty ass off a ledge so I can get to the business of killing other people? IIV) use pull or push in a manner similar to point III What else is push and pull for? IV) use the fast lightsabre stance. It is far too fast and must be a bug. Sure, and I'll also wear lead shoes. V) throw your lightsabre at your opponent. This is a cheap tactic to score kills. And the point of not throwing the light saber would be what? Its not exactly my fault the person I kill with it is too stupid to stop spamming his saber around and defend himself. VI) use mind trick to score cheap kills while invisible. Well, personally, I don't use mind trick. I do use force seeing though, GG! VII) use seeing to disrupt an invisible opponents plans. GG! GG! GG! VIII) run around or away from your opponent in order to heal after they’ve gone to all the effort of nearly killing you. Why would I bother with this? I'm just gonna grip launch you off a ledge anyways. IIX) shoot people with guns. Anyone doing this is obviously unfit to play the game. Go and watch the film and tell me how many people use them. Star wars is all about lightsabres, and guns aren’t in the spirit of the films. Every storm trooper and rebel solider in the films uses a gun. The sabers are the exception. IX) use grenades. They can’t be deflected back at you with a lightsabre. Well good, your not supposed to have an impenetrable shield anyways. X) deflect shots back at someone. The shooter won’t have his sabre draw and therefore won’t be able to do the same. Once again this comes under the heading of "Not my fault they're too stupid to...." XI) use the medium lightsabre stance. It is far too useful and must be a bug. At this point, this whole post is obviously a hoax, because essentially you've narrowed play down to standing still and taunting each other. XII) use dark rage. It makes you to fast and strong. And as slow as a wounded elephant afterwards. XIII) use protect or absorb. How can a dark jedi use his drain and grip combination on you if your using those? Smart dark jedi don't. I hope that clear things up, if I’ve missed any of the many grossly unfair tactics that are possible, please reply with details and reasons. I'd say the one you missed is the grossly unfair tactic of trying to tell people how to play the game, as the people your making fun of (or seem to be) like to do. GG! Zek
Will someone please tell me why he used both III and IIV, as well as VIII and IIX? III and VIII are the correct numerals there.
