Emon Posted April 14, 2002 Share Posted April 14, 2002 I want to use one of the other tracks in the game's sountrack for the new duel music... Okay, so I ripped it out, renamed it, put it in a PK3, then I tried it as a mod and as just a PK3 sitting there in the base folder. With the mod enabled, the music in the menu changed, but it did not while playing. Same thing happened when in the base folder. Jedith Posted April 14, 2002 Share Posted April 14, 2002 hmm... well, i tried putting my own duel music. i extracted the duel.pk3.zip into the base folder. when you extract, you got... music\readme.txt music\mp\duel.mp3 music\kejim_post\impbaseb_action.mp3 music\artus_detention\impbasec_action.mp3 music\kejim_base\kejimbase_action.mp3 i took duel of fates, replaced the "impbasec_action.mp3" file. then i packed it up and renamed it back to duel.pk3 i loaded up multiplayer and it was fine. the menu music changed, "duel of fates" played when i got into the game. how do you load it up as mod? Im sick of the JK2 duel music so I tried the duel of fate pk3, but it only plays in the game menu not while fighting in a duel. Emon Posted April 15, 2002 Author Share Posted April 15, 2002 I only want to replace the music during a private duel. For some damn reason, when I replace music\mp\duel.mp3, it STILL doesn't work.
