Heavyarms
You can possibly have a low score, but your opponent is the best at economy, and still win. I was in my comp bout, and my score was about 350 points under its hen I attack. Well, that quickly changed as soon as I killed it. Sometimes score isn't everything. TheMadDoofer
Other things can change the score for the better that by themselves are subtle but all together can amount to a lot of points. 1.) Every farm is 6 points. 2.) Map exploration brings it in 1 point per little square 3.) Trade 4.) As AU_heavyarms said that the amount of resources does count a lot. Jedi Dad
If you play against the CPU, your score matters alot. The person with the largest score will be targeted by the CPU 9 out of 10 times. What's worse, after you starting defending yourself and killing them, your score just goes up that much more.
Natopo
Ya, I was playing against my friend, and I had tons more military points then he did. We had to quit so he had the higher score because he had more resources. He wouldn't admit that I could've beaten him had we not quit.
_HaZeKniGhT
when your opponent is down by almost 1000 points and you are still quickly gaining points on them, thats when is starts to matter. the first 10 mins into a game is where score means abousolutly nothing, but with a higher score your opponent may become intimidated.
