First person Lightsabre?

Hi

 

Just got the game and am wondering how to'or if you can get first person with the Lightsabre in MP?

 

Seem to be able to with all other Weapons by pressing the P Button?

 

Can't do it with the Sabre though?

You can't, because Raven wasn't able to make a 1st person LS work in MP for some reason... Yet they can do it with guns...

I know why you can't do it with the saber. You can only do it in single player mode. Ever notice that when you swing in FP (first person) that your arms are translucent at the bottom? If you look in front of a mirror (like on the last level with Desann) and you're in FP with the saber, you will only be arms with a saber and no body. If you do it with a gun, you can see your body. If you could do it in MP then you would be a bunch of arms floating around.

You can actually get the arms model in MP. It's a secret model.

 

I won't tell you how, since it ruins the game.

A fix was just released for that (by a fan).

 

Replaces the arms model with default Kyle. No more "cheaters"!

If the first person saber was made client side only, I don't see why it couldn't be made to work, even if it is just Kyle's arms.

Interesting point by Kurgan, that would work wouldn't it......but maybe it has to do with all the stunts and stuff you do in 3 person view not being able to do them in 1
