hyrit Posted May 3, 2002 Posted May 3, 2002 Two things... This is the wrong forum. And... Is that video card a 3d one?
Ronald McDonald Posted May 3, 2002 Author Posted May 3, 2002 Yes it is 3D vid card. I have getting more RAM on my mind but the problem is I don't want to go out and waste more money and then when I come back I still have the same problem. I want to be guranteed that my RAM is the problem and not something else.
Longshanks Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 Its your onboard grafics controller mate..... 810 = useless. !!! Im afraid your gonna need a new one..if i was you i`ld plump for one of the Gforce cards.
OnlyOneCanoli Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 This has been moved to the Tech Help Center, where you can ask these sorts of questions and hopefully get good responses. Unfortunately, you won't get any good responses from me, because I'm pretty dumb when it comes to this sort of stuff.
JediKnight Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 its the RAM and the video controller. Like they said, try to triple your RAM, and get at least a GeForce2 GTS (not MX) and that will cut down your time by minutes. I have a PIII 1Gig, 512RAM and a GeForce4 Ti4600, and it takes like a minute to load. If you dont upgrade those 2 things, bring a book to the game. Good luck
RiverWalker Posted May 4, 2002 Posted May 4, 2002 I don't think thats a 3d video chipset... and you don't have nearly enough ram, it sounds like your hard drive is getting a little full, AND having windowsME on top of all that puts you in a very very very bad situation.
