fitzwilliamd Posted May 6, 2002 Posted May 6, 2002 All things being equal, does fps have a substantial effect on saber proficiency? To play your best, is there much of a difference say between 76 fps and 36? I have an Nvidia Geforce2 and at normal 640x480 I get 76 fps and at 1024x768 (my preferred resolution) I get 36 fps. Thank you in advance for any information!
fitzwilliamd Posted May 6, 2002 Author Posted May 6, 2002 framerate is GOD. Screw pretty. Which resolution/setting do you use? 640x480 and Fastest? Also, do you have any tweaking suggestions or console commands to squeeze out some more fps? Thank you.
Necro(N.O) Posted May 6, 2002 Posted May 6, 2002 well, i too have a geforce and play it to max res, but i actually play pretty well. My friends and I were discussion about jk2 with the benches they preform. With a geforce 4 quake 3 runs aat 200 fps, while with jk2, it runs 99.5, not even a hundred, expect that when playing, both benches were preformed with max graphics so res (resolution)
Jman3ooo Posted May 6, 2002 Posted May 6, 2002 I have A geforce 2 also i run on maxed settings in 800*600 I get 11 FPS but i dont lag... Is that screwy?
