what are the 5 or more things that u would want to add to jedi outcast perfect?

- Improve level design (interesting and fun puzzles, more civilians and believable locations rather than just a series of corridors and walkways)

 

- Interesting and Star Wars-esque ranged weapons (no more UT-style guns please)

 

- Replace the cattle prod with a knife or just fists

 

- Improve the voice acting

 

- Sort out the MP so lightsbares do more damage in CTF than in duels (the current patch is great for duels but appallingly for CTF et al)

 

Ah, that would make the perfect game. ;)

Variety, yes. Unreal style missile launchers and flachette guns, no.

 

Star Wars is about lasers, not rockets. If I remember correctly, the Star Wars RPG had some nice Star Wars themed weapons in it and they didn't rely on the same tired FPS weapons you see in every single game.

 

With a bit of imagination it could have included some really neat weapons that might even want you to put the lightsabre away. ;)

1) More light Saber styles (if they also put the ability to wield 2 light sabers or the double light saber in SP would be better :))

2) More levels

3) More lightsaber duels in SP (Even more sith lords)

4) A more developed plot

5) A more complicated light saber combat in Multiplayer

- Civilians for Nar Shaddaa and Cloud City levels.

- Few creatures for Yavin Swamp level(s).

- Tweaked dynamic lights which light up immediate surroundings(especially in totally dark rooms like the one in Nar Shaddaa Starport level).

- Swimming animation. Al though you had to swim only on Yavin Swamp level, this is something that many mods would find useful, if they added ponds, rivers or lakes into their levels.

- Different lightsaber hilts to choose from while in MP, because this would add more variety in conjunction with different blade colors already present.

 

BTW, this thread should belong to the Valley instead of Swamp.

Heh, I really shouldn't rub it in or anything, but since RPG was mentioned and I went through the trouble of scanning that image:

I think at least the flechette gun and disruptor are originally from Brian Daleys Han Solo books which were written around 79-80. Only very few of the extra weapons are invented by game's developers. Most of them are from EU. Of course, they don't act like they are supposed to, so that's where the "same old FPS weapons" complaint is valid.

5-A level were your on Bespin when the remmenant (sp) come and must help protect the city and you watch battles between people, and even people protect their homes.
