Darth Black1ce
I have been reading these books. I love them so far. I just finished Book #4 " The Bacta Wars" and am about to being book 5 "Wraith Squadron" I heard that the writer that takes over for stackpole isnt very good. But i'm still willing to give it a try. Anyway, I feel the need to make a Corran Horn lightsaber Whadya think about the series?
Keyan Farlander
It's a great series. And don't think the non-Stackpole books are crap. Just the opposite. They are actually better, in some ways. Anyway, book 5 is fabulous - you should love it.
OnlyOneCanoli
When I read it two years ago, I thought they were excellent. Unfortunately, I forget most of the plotline. And whoever told you that the author who took over after The Bacta War isn't a very good writer is wrong. I think his name is Allston. I doesn't matter though; the guy is hilarious. The plot may not be as intriguing as Stackpoles', but I found Allston's books to be a lot more entertaining. Yub, yub, Commander.

Woad
In my humble opinion Aaraon Alliston's writing (the guy who took over for Stackpole) is far more adept at entertaining the readers than his predecesser. He mixes great action, enjoyable interaction, very well done humor, and some great characters. Yub yub commander
Nebelwerfer_
Dang, you guys talking about this takes me back in time when I read them consecutively one by one the day they came out , eagerly awaiting the next one. Must have been 4 years ago. Very very great series , especially if you were ever into the game. You guys should try to find a copy of the farlander papers and the other one that came with TIE fighter. In case you didnt know what those wrere I'll tell you: special limited edition small books that came with the games x-wing and tie fighter like 10 years ago. Kanubis
The Allston books are great, and although I haven't got to it yet, I believe that Allston reintroduces the Wraith Squadron characters into his NJO book (the one after Dark Journey)

Don't get me wrong, I thought it was all very funny, it just didn't seem to have the Star Wars mood to me
