If somebody asks you to bum a cigarette and you give it to them, could it be considered assisted suicide?

My weekend at the movies was fabulous, I went to see "Hollow Man". Much more bloody than I thought it would be yet the movie was still a bit of a let-down. It just didn't live up to it's trailer. As a matter of fact, if you've seen the trailer, you've seen all the good parts.

Shane also went out and saw "X-Men:The Movie" over the weekend. I didn't see it myself but shane tells me it was an excellent movie and he highly recommends it.

Our movie ratings for this past weekend are as follows: (On A Scale from 1 - 10)

Hollow Man

My rating: 5

Shane's rating: 4

X-Men:The Movie

My rating: N/A

Shane's rating: 7

In the dollar movie scene, I would recommend seeing "The Patriot" and "Mission Impossible II"

And those are the weekly movie reviews for August 14, 2000

Well, I can add my movie review for "What Lies Beneath": VERY SCARY

And don't go see it if you're going with someone who is going to take your hands away from your eyes every time you try to cover them smile.gif

I hear it's a good movie, but what makes it so scary? Lotsa Biscuit containers in it? wink.gif

No, really tho, I will be sure to check it out this weekend.

Dammit Crater! You just gave away a major plot point!

Seriously though, see X-Men while you can. I was planning to take a (female, comic-reading biggrin.gif ) friend to see it, but the theatre pulled it before we could get together. mad.gif

I saw it the first weekend, but she'll have to wait for video.

It worked out for the best; next time we get together it'll be my place ('cause I have a bigger TV) with another movie (possibly two) that she's been wanting to see for years and I (and I alone) finally acquired. cool.gif
