tell me am i the only one who is sick and tired of running about in a team game with red & blue stormtroopers and red and boring blue of every other model

how boring !!!

 

not to mention that now your team mates have huge icons on their heads so you can spot allys from 3km's

 

why not spice team play up just a tad and have teams vs teams

not blue vs red

eg:

teams = imperials, rebels, gansters, or light , dark

what ever

but the teams would be restricted by the models you could pick while on that team

so you could have a whole lot of white storm troops with a officer

on the "red team" vs the rebels or the mix'n'match gansters

 

it would not be so hard ,and it would add to game play

and it would treat players with the intelengce they deserve

 

but mainly im just so sick of red and blue player models ,how boring

I say no. To be honest there are better things they could d with a patch than changing the team graphics. I like reda and blue. I like big icons above heads. I can't tell who's on which team in many games, and I like the fact that I can here. Learning which models were allied and which were enemies would be complex and annoying, and would stop people using the models they like the most.

Well when the SDK comes out im sure a modder will appreichiate your idea and make it so you can have more than 2 teams.

I think a better idea would be to utilse the idea for a new game type imps vs rebels using stormies and rebel troops, with 1 jedi on each side.

Altough I agree with that playing style, it's very much into the TFC (=mod community) direction, and is actually something for potential mod makers to do instead of raven, unless they do an expansion pack with this new playing style.

 

But bottom line... this is something for mods, not game patches.

I think a good idea would be to forget the whole skincolor thing. Have the only way to tell team members be the huge icon over their heads (which is pretty darn visible anyway)
