ValorXII
I have read in a interview with Sam L about episode II and III. He says "Darth Vader may have the skills to kill me, but I intend to go out in a blaze!". The newspaper is the Courier Mail. I would assume this is right. I'd say that its about a %90 chance that its correct.
Darklighter
May be, but Samuel L Jackson is just being arrogant. He feels he's too good to be killed by someone like Boba Fett (who he should be killed by), and that Anakin is the only one powerful enough to destroy him. Well, I guess we''l see who's good enough in Ep III.
ValorXII
Perhaps his acting abilities have made him....well, arrogant.
Kyle d'Tana
Well, the official story is, that anakin (vader ) and the emperor killed all the jedis!(without yoda and ben, and of course luke, which is not a jedi then...
ValorXII
Well Obi (Ben) did say that Vader only helped kill the Jedi. So the issue still needs some clarification. Mace said there are also a few thousand Jedi's, so I would assume that the Clone Troopers would hunt down a decent amount of them.
Cracken
You want a cool death? Boba Fett killing Mace with his own lightsaber.
Keiran Halcyon
Boba Fett, unless he has grownth improvement (that as seen in EpII, does not have) would be 13-14 years old. He cannot dare Kill the swordmaster of the jedi.

Maybe (and this is just off the top of my head random speculation) we'll see why Fett and Anakin have such a good relationship by ESB, maybe at some point durning the movie Anakin meets up with Fett and feels pity for his plight, later beats the crap out of Mace, and leaves him for Boba... Do I believe this? Not really, but it's an interesting idea...

Do I believe this? Not really, but it's an interesting idea... hey, that's not so bad an idea... this way the anakin-killed-all-jedi idea would be maintained as well as a fitting end for mace. this way, boba also would get the vengeance he surely wants all the time and the audience is satisfied the idea may be unlikely, but i still like it

He is a clone of Jango, and it was said that clones have an accelerated growth rate, therefore he would probably be an adult in EpIII

RF_Gandalf
I am pretty sure they said that Boba was not an adulterated clone, no growth enhancement, or DNA changes to make them more docile etc. He wil lnot kill Mace in Ep 3. That will have to be either Sidious or Dooku or possibly Anakin.
CupO'Coffee
probably, but since star wars is to a huge part about personal matters and stuggles, it would be logical that boba wastes mace. this might sound unlikely since boba will be around 13 or 14 years in ep3, but maybe anakin or dooku injures mace pretty bad and let's boba finish him off (see above the post from vestril, the lucasforum super spammer )
doctornick
Granted Boba is an unaltered clone, but isnt it possible that this refers to having a collected mine, it is not specific, and so could be either way. Still, it is probably unlikely that Boba could waste the alleged best swordsman in the galaxy.

eastcoast2895
the way i heard it in one of samuel l. jackson that he doesn't want to go out like a punk and be shot by a droid, but since mace windu is the SECOND strongest jedi in the universe it has to be done by someone strong, like anakin. also does anyone know boba fett's age in epII? Keiran Halcyon
Boba Fett in EpIi is around 10 years old. Anyways, If Mace Could Kill Jango, Why couldn't he do it again with Boba?

No kidding, if a fully healthy Mace fights any sort of Boba Fett and loses...something will be rotten in the state of Star Wars
