Madjai
i just watched RotJ again and paid a little more attention to Boba, when you first see him in Jaba's Palace his scanner that points out of one side of his helmet is on one side, cant remeber which, and then later during the executions his scanner is on the other side. Whats up with this? mistake or on purpose?
Blobbafett
well Ive heard he swings both ways...so that wouldnt be much of a surprise!... and no he's not my brother. on a slightly more serious note though, .. a lot of filmakers use mirrored filming,... reversing the filmstock to capture the image they want,... for example in James Camerons Titanic,.. sometimes when they filmed the ship docked, they reversed everything ( calling the image "flopped" or "flopping" the image ), this was done due to only one side of the ship being filmable-the other side had not been completely "rivetted", the detailing on the ships hull.... an incredible amount of detail that could not be done in time for filming. its possible that this was used by monsieur Lucas to film a sequence that would otherwise have been unfilmable,... maybe to make Jabbas palace seem larger that the set actually was by effectively doubling the size.....or maybe Boba just said.... "Hey!...this is my good side!!! film that bit again!" ( or maybe it was just his....ahem... dark side... oh...ho.. ......ho ok ill get my coat. anyway....just hazarding my own guess there... I'll be watching ROTJ even more closely now... cheers madjai
Chaotic~Angel
In the EU it says he has a spare suit, maybe thats it. Or they break the suit during prop set-up and make another one
acdcfanbill
too bad the real explenation is less cool sounding... the film was merely spliced in backwards, so boba looks mirrored...his antenna dents and scalps are all reversed... it happens a couple other times in the movie also i believe... i heard that they filmed the DS2 and flipped the film all the time, because it wasnt correctly alligned, or something...
