gavor Posted May 29, 2002 Share Posted May 29, 2002 I'll add my little salute to all the US servicemen and women who've had to fight for what we believe in. A personal thanks to the US marines who assisted us Aussies in New Guinea during WWII. I don't think many Australians realise how close we came to being invaded by the Japanese, and what our US allies did to help out.
