The whole point of SWG (and main reason why I like it) is that it's different than 90% of the other RPG's out there! The Devs took the best of the others, (which wasn't alot) and got rid of the bad stuff (which was alot) and threw in some: and and BOOM! we get Star Wars Galaixes: An Empire Divided !

I dont think this is sticky material, but its a good point.

 

As much as we'd like to, we can't educate everyone about everything in SWG. Most new members dont even read the jedi sticky and thats a much bigger issue to clear up. At least we have a central post to point to when they start spouting off about becoming a jedi on day 1.

 

Maybe we, the forum users, can compile an easy to read and understand document that outlines the major points where SWG is different and clear up the misunderstandings most new members have. Anyone? Whadda ya think Jek?

I like that idea and I volunteer you to type it! I want to see 10 pages typed singled paced on my desk tomorrow morning (then again in Aussie time I wouldn't get it until the 30th!

 

Well, in a few ways you and I are trying to teach "the huddled masses that are yearning to be free" something they can't comprehend, or are too lazy to see. (Referring to the gavor's FS post)

well.. i think for most of these stuff i think you better send them to the FAQ... about game info we better do that.. the jedi and rules things are realy good for the forums.... so...
