xX-Ender-Xx Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Who do you think would win in a fight with Mace Windu vs. Dooku? I mean, we all know Yoda can beat him, and Mace isn't that far from being as good as Yoda, so who would win?
Aggression Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Thats really a tough call. But I think that Dooku would win unless Mace has got some serious unrevealed powers through the force. The only reason Yoda and Dooku fought with lightsabers was because they were evenly matched in their abilities with the force. Since it has not yet been revealed how powerful Mace is when it comes to his force capabilities, Dooku might beat him before they even battle. If they battled strictly with lightsabers though its a tough call.

Actually it's not that simple. They fight with lightsabers because Yoda can stop anything Dooku sends at him, he never actually attacks with the Force. Even Obi-Wan managed to defend against Dooku's Force attacks, and he was an apprentice when Windu was sitting on the Council. I suspect that Mace is a match for Dooku.

It will be interesting if they indeed do face-off in Episode 3. According to Sam Jackson, Mace is supposed to die quite spectacularly. Whether Dooku figures in this is hard to say. I still think Anakin will be the one to slay Dooku.
AgentSmith Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Actually Yoda was about to kill Dooku/Tyranus, Yoda was seriously overclassing him. Dooku/Tyranus knew escape would be his only option so he forced that column to fall on Anakin and Obi-Wan knowing Yoda would save them first thus allowing Dooku/Tyranus the needed time to escape.

Ya we haven't really seen any BIG fights with mace yet but you could tell he is good with the confidence he has and he hasn't died YET.... This is a close call...

ET Warrior Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 I would say Mace.....just because he's such a bad dude, i mean seriously, when he leapt off that balcony because Jango was shootin his flame thrower, he was falling, removing his robe, AND he deflected 2 or 3 shots on the way down.....he's a frickin tough dude! I imagine though, that Boba is going to kill mace in episode 3......to exact his vengance for the murder of hims father...will be very sad when he dies, however it happens.

Now, does Dooku possess the PPS of the almighty Jackson? I think not. There is only one who has the PPS necesary to match the almighty Jackson. Only Vader has the PPS To win.
