Juveli
Search is not working, so I torture you with yet another force power thread... So I'm playing multiplayer against bots, since I don't have Internet connection at home. The only bot which gives me a good challenge is Desann with his Lightning. So I go to the Dark Side and start using Rank 3 Force Lightning. And what happens? I'm able to kill every single bot within 5 minutes by just frying them with my lightning. I hardly need my saber at all! What's even more interesting is the fact that it doesn't matter if they have Absorb or not, since Lightning seems to be doing damage even then, though probably a bit less. Am I having a bug or is the lightning truly this powerful? How you survive it when playing against human opponent(s)?
Telcar
Level 3 Absorb won't take damage from any level of Lightning.
Juveli
Ah yes, of course... I'm having my Force powers on Jedi Knight level, so the bots don't have their abilities maxed out (neither do I). Guess I'll have to take the Jedi Master level in use, though it makes things boring when everybody's having all the force powers... How about Dark Side users? Guess it's just helluva lot draining... Telcar
Dark Side users? They're screwed, their only counter to it is Force Lightning, Drain is not an option to be considered.
Vagabond
Absorb is dumb - just dance around the Absorb-using opponent until you hear their Absorb shut off, and then Drain/Lightning them until dead. I do it all the time.
