AgentSmith
Indeed power to Star Wars! I was very impressed by Amy Allen's performance on screen! Though she didn't get any lines I think she was perfect for the part and added a whole new dimension to Aayla Secura's character.
Arkum
I would say McGregor was overall the best actor, he really got in deep, Jackson was good, Portman was good, Christensen overdid his role as Anakin right from the beginning of the movie, but he did pretty good otehrwise. ET Warrior
everyone forgets Frank Oz...he was brilliant as yoda, yet again! HOOHA TO STAR WARS!!!!!!
AgentSmith
Yes that's true. It musn't be so easy to try and act with your voice only, especially considering Yoda's speech and grammar. How do you portray emotions and such in that? I wonder, did they record Frank Oz's voice first as he did Yoda's lines and then create the CGI Yoda to match the words spoken and emotions/orientation/intonation? Or did they rather create the CGI Yoda, animate and insert him in all the scenes and then had Frank Oz do the lines based on the scenes and animated lip movement and facial expressions of the CGI Yoda? Jedi_Monk
Usually the voice comes first and the animators match the lip-sync. Otherwise, it'd look like Anime
Legacy_Of_Sith
My personal favourites were McDarmid and Lee. They are awesome in their roles as evil sith Lords.

I agree. Ian McDiarmid is excellent doing the dual role he has to take on. He's the Supreme Chancellor, feigning the image of an honest politician who cares for the people. Star Wars newbies are duped by his performance to believe this is true, bt the hardcore fans laugh when he says, "I love democracy.. I love the Republic." Because we all know it's a big lie. As Darth Sidious, he's a real mysterious, menacing being who's a puppeteer, pulling the strings of the entire galaxy. A little off topic, he's a master of evil in ROTJ as the Emperor. Many argue that his scene in the throne room was the best bit of acting in the whole saga. Christopher Lee is also a great bad guy. Like McDiarmid, he's two-faced. One, a charismatic, charming, Countintwerested in justice and eliminating corruption. The other, another twisted face of evil and darkness, consumed by the greed and hatred of the Dark Side. I noticed that the vote count is highest at the top and lowest at the bottom. Perhaps if McDiarmid were listed first, he'd have more votes. Legacy_Of_Sith
The one thing about the emperor that I didn't like was in EP V when Vader was talking to him through a hologram. His voice didn't sound like Palpatine/Sidious at all.
MaulerZ
I voted for Natalie. It was a dead heat between Ewan and her. But i didnt vote for Anakin because he acts like a little kid.......I wonder if Shmi ever dropped him on his head when he was a baby............... The hologram was of an old lady with chimpanzee eyes plastered over her, and the voice was dubbed by a guy named Clive Revill. It may sound like I'm joking, but it's (unfortunately) true. That's just WRONG, in my opinion. It doesn't do the character justice. There'a semi-large debate about removing that Ms.chimpanzee-eyes thing with Ian, Episode I style in the "Ultimate Edition" release. I say, go for it. ET Warrior
I think they defiinately should do that.......it would be much cooler to have McDiarmid voice it......

I KNEW all that, the chimpanzee eyes aren't too terrible but the voice makes him seem like an imposter. BTW, who played the Emperor in ROJ? Shadow Angel
Oh. Well, then, that's to all the people who didn't know that. But yeah, the voice is probably the worst part, and it just doesn't sound right. If anything, the "ultimate Edition" should have it dubbed by Ian. Yoda_623
I though Ewan Mccgregor did the best job. He just seems perfect for the roll of Obi-Wan. The way he treated Anikan just seemed to be perfect.
