Gabrobot1587246497
Ah, um, were you running a patch? Probably not, I would say that you should try reinstalling MotS (keeping your savegames of course).
BeastMaster
Yeah, that happens in some levels when you're using Glowsaber. Something about how Glowsaber reacts to coloured lighting and/or sector tints. Does the game still run when the screen is black? (If so, then that's what it is.) Guest cenca
no, nothing runs when the screen is black and...glowsaber? Lightsaber?
Gabrobot1587246497
Like I said try reinstalling MotS (you can keep your savegames). And Qui Xux, if you're wondering, Glowsaber is a patch for MotS, though I never downloaded it.
Guest Rogue15
ya, either glowsaber, or you started using a different player model other than mara and loaded at a save...like they said, reinstall, keep savegames.

BeastMaster
An explanation: Originally posted by Gabrobot: Glowsaber is a patch for MotS, Not really a patch, per se, since it's user-made. Glowsaber is a mod that adds realistic lightsaber glows (replacing the "coloured stick" effect of the games), as well as trails (like in the movies, where the saber makes an after-image when it swings). It also allows you to change the saber's colour (giving Mara a blue blade because she would be using Luke's old saber). There're a variety of versions. In addition to the "straight" glowsaber mods for JK and MotS (with skinpacks from TPM), there's SithSabers (which adds a double-bladed saber and other goodies in subsequent versions). There are also dozens of other mods that make use of glowsaber tech (like Guardians of the Galaxy, Saber Battle X, and the upcoming Obi-Wan TC). Guest Rogue15
glowsaber isn't for mots, beast, that's sbx (saber battle x), which is basically the same thing w/2 or 3 movies added to it.
Gabrobot1587246497
Have you downloaded Saber Battles X? It's not basicly the same thing with 2 or 3 moves! Download it.
Guest Rogue15
I have it, it changes alot of the stuff on the weapons, like it makes it look cooler...ah, time for a new topic for me.
Gabrobot1587246497
I really like the way you can kill most enemies with only one shot, like in the movies. The only thing I don't like about this patch is the kicks, they take away to much health, not very fun in MP because people kill you by kicking you when it should just throw you back a distance. BeastMaster
SBX is for JK (I spent most of Sunday playing around with it ). IIRC, there are two versions of Glowsaber; one for JK, and one for MotS. I don't have the MotS version (when it came out, MotS wasn't working, and I've never gotten around to d'loading it. I'll do that now. Originally posted by Gabrobot: The only thing I don't like about this patch is the kicks, they take away to much health, not very fun in MP because people kill you by kicking you when it should just throw you back a distance. There should be a distinction between "killing" and "knocking unconscious." When you're KOed (by a physical hit, like a punch, kick, or being slammed against a wall), it should start a timer that respawns you (on that spot), with minimal health, a few seconds later. Somebody with better cogging skills than I want to try it?
Guest Rogue15
ko should be like the flash grenades or force blinding. except RED colored.
Guest Kurgan
Yeah, then there's Glowblades for JK, and Art of the Lightsaber (that menu system was annoying, no offense) for MotS..

BeastMaster
I couldn't get AOtL to work. I mean, it went great in SP, but as soon as I tried an MP level, everything froze up and I was left staring at the back of Kyle's head.
