natwa whitta Posted June 10, 2002 Posted June 10, 2002 ok, the clones are future storm troopers, right? then why in ep 4 are the diff sizes and such? is it because at that time they acually hade an enlistment program? were other people willing to join? did all the original clones (most, anyway) get killed along the way, and by the time of ep. 4 the empire was big enough to have areal army? will sienfeld ever get back together? a few thoughts, please!

ET Warrior Posted June 11, 2002 Posted June 11, 2002 I personally think that Stormtroopers are a mix of clones and enlisted troops. My main reason, is ANH takes place 20 years or so after ep 2, and in ep 2 we saw probably millions of clones that were just starting to be grown....it takes 10 years to get fully mature clones, so 10 years later, they'd probably still be serving, and i doubt that palpatine would tell the Kaminoans to stop. They probably kept right on cloning, otherwise, it would be nearly impossible to have as many stormtroopers as the Empire did
