Grets Sirob
Hmm, not bad. I know nothing about 19th century japan archatexture, but that looks good. :no wampa smily:Mad:make one jk2.net!: Roar!
Galactic Magi
thats pretty good. I really like how you threw that together, it looks alot like japan in that time period. Some things you need to work on are the place outside the house. Its REALLY empty. Add some trees in there and maybe some japanese sculpture things outside. A cobblestone walkway would take up space and fit the bill pretty well, and maybe a river thats more spread out along the map. Definitely add more brush and stuff though. Is it finished or if its not when will it be done
Galactic Magi
whoops, i meant to say close to finished:fett:
Galactic Magi
also i noticed some places in the house are a little empty to. It looks kind of like a dark map, so you could cover for the tiny amount of things in the room by making it look like its burnt. You dont need to though, its just a suggestion. also what exactly is that white thing outside. Its has alot of sharp edges and doesnt really look like it has any depth. yrean
ok everything looks good... i wouldnt add to much more outside as suggest as seen in your pics... your fps outside is already kinda low... if you add trees trust me on this one... it will drop down fps till its almost not playable... alot of polys in a tree... twisted rocks or something of a rock garden maybe.... that shouldnt kill it too much... by the way everything looks really good when can we expect a release. Epimetheus
It looks good, but if you really want something like a Japanese castle, it has to be big. Really big. The entire area of these castles is huge. Some had mazes outside, which is something that might be interesting. Japanese castles weren't like dumb ol' western Europe castles... The Truthful Liar
I'm working on something similar to what you described... a Japanese Castle...
Andy867
Looks good, but for some reason, when I saw one ofthe pics of your guy looking at the house from the outside, it reminded me of that one covert operation map from the original Rainbow Six... where you have to sneak around without being spotted, etc. Just my $.02 of knowledge... Damn, now I'm broke!!!!
Joe_18
thanks for the comments guys. i'm still working on the map. I have to figure out what i want to put in the map some more. the bottom floor is going to be a "dojo" with tatami mats and some training equipment. it isn't ment to be a castle or anything just a big house. as for release i have no idea i'm not gona release it till i'm happy with it and it is fun to play. anyone know how to make a water fall?
