okay my first skin is nearing completion. i just have the icons to do, and i dread that. anyway, heres my first skin:

today i started work on my icons. it is only now that i realize my idea of having icons that fit in seamlessly from those that come with the game will be very difficult. i got the backround picture from a previous thread. my original plan was the get the screens from the game, but now i see they arent of the high quality i want. does anyone know how i could get a picture of my skin for the icon that looks like the games icons?

Open up your model in modview and find the angle and position you want for your icons using the animations. then copy the image, remove the background, and paste it over the icon BG. Add shadows if you wish, and presto! You have an icon,...

looks pretty good but the eyes aren't the same size or shape.

well (sadly) the face is mine...the eyes on my face are the same size and shape. i think they are on the skin too. my low resolution on my modview kinda disorts things(hence my icon problems)...so the may look different in the screenshot.

 

oh, and i used photoshop. . .
