MHB430 Posted June 18, 2002 Posted June 18, 2002 I heard thay each world is the size of a final fantasy world.... but i want to know for sure how big are teh worlds and how many are there?
StormHammer Posted June 20, 2002 Posted June 20, 2002 Yeah, no details yet concerning level size...but they did say the gameplay should last around 60-70 hours. Not as long (or big) as Baldur's Gate II...but that timeframe for game completion seems to be becoming the norm in RPG's of late. I read somewhere that Dungeon Siege only plays for about 50-60 hours. Of course, Morrowind could make up for all that...heh. Shame they're going to trim Deus Ex 2 down in size compared to the original. Apparently some people thought it was too long and never completed it. I didn't notice how long it took me, to be honest...I just had to keep playing it until I finished it. Too few games recently have grabbed my interest like that. Anyway, it looks like Knights could have lots of depth, so it should be good. As long as there are lots of choices and some branching storylines, it could beg to be replayed, so the short(er) length might not be an issue. To finish, any game developer who thinks 10-15 hours of gameplay is acceptable should go and do something else. I like my games looooong, whether it's FPS or RPG.
Steg Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 KOTOR is set to have 60+ hours of kick ass game play! HUGE levels! now....when is it coming out? Steg
Old_Ben Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 Not soon enough:D guess I'll just have to play some more Marrowind or JKII until then.
Com Raven Posted June 24, 2002 Posted June 24, 2002 the levels don't have to be huge to make up 60 hours of gameplay...
