Hannibal
They would be cool high level skills. Construction of a double bladed lightsaber and wielding 2 lightsabers or a lightsaber and blaster at the same time.
MHB430
K i found this interview with Gamespot and Bioware.... heres some qotes.... "GS: How many weapons will be featured in the game?" "MG: We have a full complement of melee and ranged weapons. So like blasters, rifles, swords, double swords." If Double swords means the same as light saber then its gonna be in there... and heres the website i got the interview from... http://xboxpix.com/starwars-kotor-info.html

jingato
Don't you think they probably meant sabers when they said swords.
Old_Ben
Are there actually metal swords in Star Wars? Anyway dual sabers would be cool.
Norin Radd
I've never seen any metal swords in STAR WARS. Indeed, the most primitive weapon I've ever seen were in ROTJ with the Ewoks. However, this is 4000 years before Episode I. I'm thinking they just meant lightsabers. In any case, the Bioware guy who called lightsabers swords(if that was what he meant)should be given a good smack across the face.

They had vibro-blades also which were metal. They weren't mentioned as much as vibro-axes but I remember young Obi-Wan having to use one when he didn't have his lightsaber. covenant_bad
i think steel blades suck reminds me to much of highlander besides a lightsabre could just swing through it and kill 'em as for steel blades deflecting blasters

Sith Inquisitor
Hmmm. So what I'm reading here is that you may be able to construct your own lightsaber? That would be nice, though I have been keeping abreast of KOTOR information and i haven't heard this. If you are able to have a double ended saber, I'm thinking it will be if you decide to follow the dark side on your quest. Just an observation from a n00b. I'm thinking the Sith Lords most likely, since Exar Kun was the first one to use a double-ended saber, it has been associated with the Sith. However, you never know. . . Pantherine
It would be very interesting to be able to create a lightsaber as I have read you'll be able to in SWG. I think it would also be helpful if the devs would keep an eye on these threads and would say something every now and then. I think the posts that are on this site show some excellent ideas and topics about and for the game.
