-[MotU]-Lyger|=- Posted June 22, 2002 Share Posted June 22, 2002 Why are there people who play as the name Padawan?? understandably it could be because they dont know how to change their name, or they just dumb, or their like Musashi and use the name padawan to throw people off gaurd cause they got mad skills. now i dont think highly of that name i just wondering why SO MANY DAMN PEOPLE HAVE THAT NAME!?! It all comes back to Counter Strike and the name "Player" the name used by 1,000's of people for no reason. its like Padawan is to JKII as Player is to Counter Strike. TOP FIVE 1)They're hands are TOO FAT to push the keypad? 2) They can't find the bind +name *.* = I'm not a loser PADAWAN script online. 3) Weiner-head just isn't threatening anymore. 4) Padawan is German for Player (CS) 5) I dunno. Let them call themselves whatever they like, and nothing if they don't feel the need. Personally, I was tired of people taking my name and using it in CS. Or people who decided to pretend to be in our clan. I'd get flamed when I entered a game because other players stole my handle, or a different guy from our clans. It's all too depressing. It's rediculous to enter a game and see 5 or more PADAWAN running around. It's the same to play CS and see ten PLAYER runing around too. If they ask how to change their names, I gladly tell them whatever they want to know. As far as stealing clan names, sometimes people have nothing better to do than run around mimicing other people. *Sigh* whatever. I've get better things to do than to wonder why people do stoopid things like that. Last of all, no I am not superior to anyone because of my name, atinymonkey. I never said I was. I just wanted to know why SO MANY people have that name. no one has the name -=|Lyger|=- but me. its cool to have your own created name or you could have a name you saw/stole from someone else. i like to be OG, if anyone else doesnt then start being original! Backstabbing, kicking, wall running, etc... are part of the game. and your free to win how you see FIT, ok. Nobody is cheap for using (exploiting) part of the game. But I like to win with more than just 1 move all the time. I like to fight classic DUELS, like the warriors used to do. It's just more fun for me, that's all.
