player icons not showing in player menu

i have all my icon_default in the right folders, yet i cannot select them through the menu. i must do /model black_wookiee or grey_wookiee or tan_wookiee or white_wookiee. http://clan-cd.tripod.com/wookieefur.txt

If you're joining a multiplayer server, it may be because it's a Pure Server

 

If you're hosting your own Multiplayer server and haven't pk3'd your skin yet, set the Server options - Pure Server to Off

actually, i always test on my own server.

make sure they are the proper size

and dont have any special compression options turned on

like progressive, etc

they're 256x256 and just plain old .jpg's.
