yes it does absorb push/pull, just dont try to jump a chasm though.

yes, but your hand still goes up to block it, making you vulnerable to saber throw......it works best if you use it effectively

As leelink said...you are still somewhat vulnerable while you are in the air. A mistake many people are still puzzled by.

push/pulling a person with absorb on still stuns them, so if you're chasing someone a few well timed pulls can help close a gap. And like the others said let you sneak in a saber throw if you're into that sort of thing.

 

absorb mostly just means you can't get thrown violently around or knocked down.

Don't forget another important fact: "Absorb" also includes that force that is directed towards you is indeed "absorbed", meaning that it replenishes your force pool!
