You can say it with the god part or leave it out... it should be respected either way. I feel that if people do not feel like we are all being "united" as the pledge is supposed to do...then we need to find ways to include everyone or at least not single anyone out. Its not that I don't believe in god or anything like that. I feel that when you are making the pledge its more about what you believe in your heart than what you say outloud.
