Darth Kaan
I was installing JKII after a computer upgrade and at 50% installed, my electricity went out....so 10 min's later after the light company got done repairing whatever they were working on that required shutting the power off on our whole block, I fire up the computer. Since JKII was only 50% installed when the lights went fodder, I could not delete what had been installed via add/remove programs in control panel. So I manually deleted the folders and files, then manually edited the registry, then ran norton windocter. Although all traces of files and keys have been removed from my HD and registry the only option JKII gives me now is to un-install it. Anyone know the trick to solving this short of a complete OS rewrite? Kaan
teleguy
To reinstall the game, go to the GameData directory on the CD and run Setup. This will properly install the game. Thats from the Lucasarts support page.

Doyle
@Teleguy: Thanks so much man, fixed my problem and I can now enjoy this amazing game. @Kaan: Try running it from the start menu. Go to Start-Run, and type: D:\Gamedata\Setup (replace D with your CD drive). This worked for me.
Darth Kaan
Thanks again Teleguy for the help! Doyle, I tried that too, but ended up doing an OS reinstall to fix it. Thanks for the helpful advise anyway! Kaan
