1. Open PakScape.

2. Click on new button.

3. Create the directory structure (such as \models\players\xxxx) for each thing you're adding, copy and paste the files, etc.

ehhhh....I still don't really get it...sigh.

Got paths for everything...like...models\players\katarn.

What about copying..pasting..what?....then what after?...what?...where?...how?...when?...eh?

You copy and paste the files. You know, those simple commands that even grannys know? CTRL-C for copy and CTRL-V for paste. :)

Its simpler than that:

1. Open pakscape

2. click New

3. click in the left frame

4. click the new folder button (on the tool bar)

5. name the folder (name it "models").

6. double click on that folder to enter it...

7. make another folder in this one.

8. Name it "players" and enter it.

9. Another new folder... name it with your character's name. Enter it.

10. Lasso all of your textures and .skin folders and all the other stuff, then pull it into that pakscape frame.

11. Hit save and name it Pookie.pk3 (or whatever your character is named.

12. Make sure that you saved the .pk3 to your base folder.

13. Try it out.

eh?....I dunno but I made a new skin of Kyle. Do you really need to use PakScape? I got the skin to work in the game without using it.

mmm... you don't have to use pakscape. I know that other folks use stuff like winzip and other zip programs. If you got it to work for you, great. If you want it to work for others, you'll have to make it a pk3.
