delquar Posted July 4, 2002 Posted July 4, 2002 my brother just got the game, and i forgot how to fix this error Initializing OpenGL driver ...getting DC: succeeded ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...35 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...GLW_ChoosePFD( 16, 16, 0 ) ...35 PFDs found ...GLW_ChoosePFD failed ...failed to find an appropriate PIXELFORMAT ...restoring display settings ...WARNING: could not set the given mode (3) ...shutting down QGL ...unloading OpenGL DLL ----- CL_Shutdown ----- RE_Shutdown( 1 ) ----------------------- GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem he is running WinXP(eck) and it is being a little bitchy about loading new videdo card drivers too... quite annoying. anyone know how to remedy this?
teleguy Posted July 4, 2002 Posted July 4, 2002 Probably thats because the drivers that come with XP do not support openGL and the only way to fix this is to download drivers from the card manufacturer.
Camus Posted July 4, 2002 Posted July 4, 2002 If drivers still dont work and you have old games come to me because I have the remedy for that equations...
