Shem
I really want to know how to take a sound and make it into an MP3 file. Is there software I need to download? If so, what do I need to download?

Shem
Okay, I looked at the winamp website and have had no luck. Basically I have lightsaber sounds in .wav format and need to convert them to a .mp3 format.
Damage
Try to use a search Engine to find a trail version of CuteRip, since this comes with a built in Wav to MP3 converter. Then go into it and select File and then Encode Files. from there you should be able to find your Wav file and convert it! :-)

Shem
Well I did get the help that I needed and will soon be releasing a MOD with new saber swinging sounds. Be sure to check out my hit Prequel Sabers. Thanks to those who downloaded my file and made it a top ten hit (as of today 7/6).
Commodus
You can also get Sound Forge which, although it isn't freeware, is pretty good for editing sounds and making new ones. Give me a message if you can get one of your own custom sounds to be working ingame, I'm interested in finding out how to get my own working...
