Rumble_Fish
Hello all, I have recently upgraded to window xp and I have run into a logging in problem. Now when I am logging in I get a Open GL error. Was wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows of a fix for it. I have tried to uninstall and re-install the game and my video drivers and neither worked (of course). thanks in advance for any help Rumble Fish
Cobalt60
Microsoft doesn't want you to use OpenGL . they prefer that you use D3D for everything. thats why the WindowsXP driver dadtabase has no OpenGL. (ie: winXP DOES have drivers for your card, in the windows 'plug and play' driver-database; but Microsoft actually took the time to remove the OpenGL component) (really) you will need to get new drivers from the video card's manufacturer, if you want to play games under OpenGL. (the drivers that came with windows are ****. by design)
Rumble_Fish
Thanks, I will try reloading the video driver from Cd instead of letting Xp find them for me.
JEDI_Nova
This happened to me, and if the last suggestion doesnt work get some XP compatible drivers for your graphics card. My graphics card is geforce 2 MX and i got the drivers from http://www.nvidia.com/

Robbiesan
quick note: it's a good idea to load up the latest and proven drivers for our vid card.. windows is not too good at choosing the best driver for you depending on your vid card..
Vezner
I had to update my Video Drivers to fix it as well. I also use the Nvidia drivers. I believe that they are called Detenator Drivers.
