Who Knows? Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 What are some memorable moments you have had while playing computer/Video games? I can remeber vividly the final boss battle in Dark Forces. You can tell something's amiss with the near dead silence. You walk around a big cavernous room with noone around, then you drop down a level and suddenly you hear Mohc as he opens his door and pops out in a dark trooper level 3 uniform. A little jump was provided the first time it happens but not on repeated attempts. The actual fight is not quite as great or exciting but I can still remember exactly how I beat him(the only time I did-didn't go back to play the game until recently); run back to the elevator with Mohc in tow and just throw thermal detonators out, the elevator door closes and protects you. Another memorable moment was the beautiful graphics in a third party assault map for UT called athenosphere(when you first walk into the observation deck). Ok enough from me, how about you?
Darth Groovy Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 I've posted this before, but I will share it again. The final level of Star Wars for Super NES. I am heading down the trench and as soon as I got to the shaft for the first time I closed my eyes, held my breath, fired the torpedoes and BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy I held a party at my house that night!

Skuttle24 Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 first time i played half-life. man what a good game:rolleyes:
Shadow Angel Posted July 7, 2002 Posted July 7, 2002 When I first experienced Doom. *drool* Let's see... SW: Rogue Squadron, during the Escape From Fest mission. Mostly because I had to play that mission over 30 times to get the final gold medal, and boy, was I shocked when I did. StarFox 64: When I found the second way to kill Andross. That brain was freaky. Plus, when you follow your father out of the level, that was pretty cool. Super Mario 64, final bout with Bowser. I had the game for, like, 3 years before I beat it. (That's incredibly long in my book. I'm used to 1-3 weeks.) Not because it was hard, just never got around to it. Jedi Knight I: the Falling Ship stage. Wow. Jedi Knight II demo. The final fight with the Reborn really got me into the game. Loved the reflective floor. Unreal Tournament: The Morpheus map. I play that map more than any other, it has so much friggin' action. I usually use the MatrixMoves and LazyMatrix mods with it. Final Fantasy VII, when I first got Vincent. He's such a badass character. SW Trilogy Arcade: The Duel with Darth Vader stage. AWESOME. BTW, if you turn the saber off after successfully beating him, the Emperor will say, "So be it... Jedi."
